Activity: As a class (or at tables) make a list of 50 must read books for students at their school. This would be a good activity to talk about noise level at tables. Extending the activity--have groups share out their books and make a bigger whole class list.
Bonus extension : Research the top names in these articles--who are they? What is their job?

EES--
It would be fun to have the kids organize a book swap. (And I think doable for 4th and 5th graders to organize).
They could work in groups to figure out When/Where/Why/How and then the rules and secure the permissions.
