Snowmen At Night: Pre-K; Forgot to have them make/decorate their snowman. (Di-cut them yesterday; sitting on my desk).:(
Will have other pre-k class in tomorrow; can use theirs and catch the others next week.They liked the story. We counted the snowmen on several pages and talked about what they did at night.

Snowmen At Night/Kinders:
They liked the story and the song to get up and move to; "Dance Like Snowflakes" (So wiggly yesterday!)
They had no problem re-calling what happened in the story. I had them pretend they were a Snowman and told them to write/draw what they would do at night, if they snuck out from where they lived.
Comical comments!:)

Kindergarten loved this story! They also did not have trouble recalling some of the things that snowmen do at night. They did their best to copy down a couple of things we brainstormed on their own paper. Some had a little bit of trouble with this though.

12-12-14: Snowmen At Work; 4yr. olds; The story line for these books are kind of over their heads; for the 3-yd. olds too. But we talk about the different things they did and had the kids tell me what kind of a job they are doing. I found this link to you-tube; A Snowman song that you can do actions to . The kids did like it because they could move a little.:) https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=-b-U1eQqBmk (I'm A Little Snowman). 1:45;

12-17-14; Snowmen At Christmas; I read this to 4-yr. olds, but read "What Could Be Keeping Santa" to 3-yd. olds. I found a Dancing Christmas Tree Song (1:20), that I have used with these groups and K's to get the wiggles out at the end. They liked it and didn't want to stop:)
