Alphabetical by Author--Day 2 (Quick reminder lesson probably)

Using Dino ABC cards have class line up in ABC order.
Then have them find the matching abc letter on the bookshelf in the picture book section.
Extra Bonus: Have students pick up one book and line up a set of books (and themselves in ABC order) based on author's name.  I would do this will one book from A-B-C, etc.  I wouldn't go harder than that at this level.

This playlist has information about the State Library of Kansas and how to research using Explora Kids or Britanica Kids.  You can use them in class or just for your own background information and explain the sites yourself.
