Little Blue Truck has a nice rhythm and was exactly the right length read aloud for this age group

Little Blue Truck was great! I had the students participate by making sounds of animals and truck.

Both 3 and 4 year olds did really well with the video. I kept the video going during checkout so they could go back to the carpet and continue. It kept their attention:)

Flora/Flamingo: 4-yr.olds; They liked the book and it kept their attention; This class has a harder time focusing. We got about 1/2 way through it. Then watched a short-clip on the Ugly Duckling (an oldie, but goodie, since I could get to the Fantasia video).

3 yr.olds/p.m.; Flora the Flamingo: They did pretty good sitting; didn't quite make it through the whole story, but they seemed to like it.

Flora and the Flamingo was a bit of stretch. My 3 yr old did better with building a story line than the 4 yr olds. I made a point of talking about how stories can still be stories even with out words. They however did love the fantasia clips!
