K-We watched the little Red Hen online, stopping and predicting/answering questions as we went. I had them do the writing sheet. Write about something you have done all by yourself and draw a picture. Overall went well.

Angel-Day 2 Chicken non-fiction/KWL

We began with our KWL chart and what we knew and what questions we had. We then read some from a nonfiction chicken book and added what we learned. (Waddle, comb, breeds, hens lay on the eggs, etc.). When finished we talked about the egg/vinegar and the students wrote/drew their predictions. We didn't have a lot of time for this because we had to practice good listening skills/be respectful, review my expectations for the library :)
