The classes really liked the competitition. (Just don't feel like we had enough time to get the kids excited about BOB).
The interest is there; would just be good to do more "promoting" of this during library classes.

Read-Aloud/2nd Grade:
This is a good idea, but there needs to be something to do with what they are reading to keep their attention.
Even when I asked kids what happened at the end of class, or who the characters were, they couldn't remember or weren't paying attention.
Also, I had some of the kids read, but couldn't hear them very well.
(Too much hallway noise as usual, and some kids' voices don't project well.) Maybe a microphone for next year would help with all classes.

4-17-15; Battle Bunny: They watched the video on-line about the authors and looked at the actual book. The kids are really excited, but did ask if they "really could write" in the books. Talked abut copyright, etc.
