3-24-14; 3rd Grade; B.C.C.C.A.; Both classes chose/voted, "Spunky Tells All" as their favorite book. We played the "Library Lingo" game as a class. I had pencils in my desk drawer from last year to use as prizes; they tried a little harder when they found out they could win something. We reviewed a few first.

5th-I reviewed the rules and books for voting. Student voted and we then played a game of jeopardy using table teams. It went pretty good and most seemed to enjoy it.
4th-Same as 5th-they seemed to enjoy though it was a larger class, more had read books, so we didn't have as long to play.
3rd-vote for books then they partnered up and did tumble books together throughout the library. They had a lot of voting questions. Ha ha
2nd-Same as 3rd. They did excellent working with their partners.

3-27-14; 2nd Grade: We reviewed the B.C.C.C.A. and did the thumbs-up or thumbs down! There weren't very many out of either class that were able to vote. Then played Library Lingo.

2nd grade couldn't use carts due to testing so after we voted (they understood it better) we watched a book together (tumblebooks) then did the game taking turns.
5th & 4th each voted and we played a game of bingo using table teams. Winning team got a mini tootsie pop.
3rd-voted then did tumblebooks with a partner.
Overall things went well
